The Federal University of Applied Sciences, Kaduna (FUASK), located in Kachia, Kaduna State, Nigeria, is one of the newly established Federal Universities of Applied Sciences approved by the Federal Government in 2021. It officially commenced operations in 2025, following the takeover and expansion of the defunct Nok University.

FUASK is Nigeria’s first University of Applied Sciences, created to promote practical, innovation-driven education with a focus on science, technology, medicine, engineering, and environmental studies.

As a federally owned institution, FUASK is fully recognized by the National Universities Commission (NUC), which accredits its programs. It currently offers a range of undergraduate programs across health sciences, computing, engineering, and environmental studies, with competitive admission cut-off marks depending on the course.
