Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU) is in Anyigba, Kogi State, Nigeria. It was started in 1999 when Prince Abubakar Audu was the governor. In 2020, the university was named “Prince Abubakar Audu University” to honor its founder.
PAAU has many undergraduate and postgraduate programs in different areas like Agriculture, Arts and Humanities, Natural Sciences, Management Sciences, Law, Education, and Health Sciences. In 2025, they brought back the MBBS program (Medicine and Surgery) after it was on hold for about ten years. This was because they made improvements to the buildings and programs, with checks by the National Universities Commission (NUC). The university has full approval for many of its programs.
