The University of Medical Sciences (UNIMED), Ondo City, Ondo State, is the first specialized medical university in Nigeria and West Africa. It was established in 2015 by the Government of Ondo State to provide high-quality teaching, research, and service delivery in the health sciences.
UNIMED is recognized by the National Universities Commission (NUC) and offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Medical Laboratory Science, Anatomy, Physiology, and other allied health disciplines.
