The Swedish Institute (SI) Scholarship for Global Professionals is a fully funded master’s scholarship for talented people from around the world. It gives professionals the chance to study in Sweden, gain leadership skills, and learn how to build a future that’s good for business, society, and the planet.

Eligibility
To apply for the Swedish Institute SI Scholarship for Global Professionals, you must:
- Be a citizen and resident of one of these eligible countries:
Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Belarus, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Egypt, Ethiopia, Georgia, Guatemala, Indonesia, Iraq, Jordan, Kenya, Liberia, Malaysia, Mexico, Moldova, Morocco, Nigeria, Peru, Philippines, Rwanda, Senegal, South Africa, Tanzania, Thailand, Uganda, Ukraine, Vietnam, Zambia.
(Note: Ukrainians living outside Ukraine can also apply.) - Hold a leadership role (such as CEO, Director, or Senior Executive) in a medium or large organization.
- Be at least 30 years old (born in 1994 or earlier).
- Have a bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Have strong English communication skills.
- Be willing to share your experience and support others during the program.
- Have identified a real business problem related to sustainability that you want to work on.
How to Apply
Below is the step-by-step process:
- Apply for an eligible master’s program at a Swedish university.
- Apply for the SI Global Professionals Scholarship and upload the required documents:
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Motivation Letter
- Two Recommendation Letters
- Valid Passport or National ID
- Proof of work and leadership experience
- After submission, the Swedish Institute (SI) will screen applications and remove those that don’t meet the requirements.
- When University Admissions releases results on March 26, 2026, SI will review all eligible applicants and make final decisions.
