The Federal University Otuoke (FUOTUOKE) has officially announced the commencement of its supplementary admission exercise for the 2024/2025 academic session. This supplementary admission is open to candidates who did not initially secure admission during the first admission process but are still interested in studying at FUOTUOKE. The university is inviting applications from qualified candidates to apply for available slots in various undergraduate programs.
Eligibility Criteria for FUOTUOKE Supplementary Admission
To be eligible for the FUOTUOKE supplementary admission exercise, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- JAMB UTME Score: Candidates must have scored at least 140 in the 2024/2025 UTME to be eligible for consideration.
- Choice of Institution: Applicants must have chosen FUOTUOKE as their first choice of institution in the UTME. Candidates who did not initially choose FUOTUOKE can apply after making a change of institution through the JAMB portal.
- O’Level Requirements: Candidates must have at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including Mathematics and English Language, at not more than two sittings.
- Previous Admission Status: Candidates who have already been offered admission into any degree program in FUOTUOKE or any other institution are not eligible to participate in the supplementary admission process.
P/S: Candidates who initially applied for admission at Federal University Otuoke but were not admitted into the programmes of their choice can also reapply for any of the programmes listed above but must first do a change of course to the desired programme at JAMB Website.

How to Apply for FUOTUOKE Supplementary Admission
To apply for the FUOTUOKE supplementary admission, candidates must follow these steps:
- Visit the FUOTUOKE Admission Portal: Go to the official FUOTUOKE supplementary admission portal at www.fuotuoke.edu.ng to begin the application process.
- Generate RRR: Create a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) for the payment of the supplementary admission form.
- Pay the Supplementary Admission Fee: Pay the non-refundable supplementary admission fee via the Remita platform using your RRR number.
- Complete the Application Form: Fill out the online supplementary admission form with accurate personal and academic information.
- Upload Required Documents: Upload scanned copies of relevant documents, including your O’Level results, UTME result slip, and passport photograph.
- Submit the Application: After filling in all the necessary information, submit your application and print out the acknowledgment slip for future reference.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR THE ONLINE APPLICATION
Candidates are required to upload the following documents:
- Passport-size photograph
- Copy of 2023 UTME original result printout
- Copy of WAEC/NECO/NABTEB Ordinary Level result
- Copy of Local Government Origin
- Copy of Birth Certificate or Age Declaration

- Use the same name as in your JAMB UTME and in the same order
- Submit a valid email address and personal phone number in your online application

Candidates are advised to take note of the following important dates:
- Application Opening Date: The supplementary admission application portal is now open.
- Application Deadline: Portal closes on October 21st, 2024. Late applications will not be entertained.
Admission Screening and Selection Process
The selection process for the FUOTUOKE supplementary admission will be based on the candidate’s UTME score and O’Level results. Candidates with higher scores and the required subject combinations will have a better chance of gaining admission. FUOTUOKE’s admission committee will carefully review all applications to ensure that only qualified candidates are offered admission.

DISQUALIFICATION
CANDIDATES WHO MAKE FALSE DECLARATION OF UTME SCORES, ORDINARY LEVEL RESULT GRADES (WAEC, NECO OR NABTEB) AS WELL AS STATE OF ORIGIN SHALL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR ADMISSION.
