Mbagen College of Health Technology, Abwa, has started selling admission forms for the 2026/2027 academic session. The school is located in Buruku Local Government Area of Benue State and operates under the motto “Training Breeds a Healthier Society.”
Students who want to study health-related courses can now apply for the available programs. The college has also provided the entry requirements and payment information for interested applicants.
Available courses and Eligibility
National Diploma in Community Health (CHEW) – 3 years
Applicants must have five O-Level credits in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. These results can be from WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, SSCE or GCE, obtained in not more than two sittings.
Junior Community Health Workers who have two years of work experience and a valid CHPRBN practice licence can also apply.
Certificate in Community Health (JCHEW) – 2 years
Candidates must have at least three credit passes in English Language, Mathematics and Biology. They must also have passes in two other science subjects in WAEC, NECO, NABTEB or GCE, in not more than two sittings.
Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) – 3 years
Applicants must have five O-Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Physics. The results must be obtained in not more than two sittings.
National Diploma in Health Information Management (ND-HIM) – 2 years
Candidates must have five SSCE credits in English Language, Mathematics, Biology or Health Science, Chemistry and Physics from WAEC, NECO or GCE, in not more than two sittings.
Cost of the Admission Form
The admission form costs N12,500.
Interested applicants can obtain the form from the Registry Department of the college during working hours.

- Days: Monday to Friday
Applicants simply need to visit the Registry during these hours to get the form.
