Sule Lamido University (SLU) Releases UTME/DE Admission List for 2024/2025 Academic Session

Sule Lamido University (SLU), located in Kafin Hausa, Jigawa State, has officially released its admission list for both UTME and Direct Entry (DE) candidates for the 2024/2025 academic session. This list comprises names of candidates who have been provisionally admitted into various undergraduate programs at the university. Candidates who applied through either the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) or Direct Entry are encouraged to check their admission status.

How to Check SLU Admission Status on the University Portal

Candidates can check if they have been offered admission by accessing the SLU admission portal. Here are the steps:

  1. Visit the SLU Admission Portal: Go to https://slu.edu.ng.
  2. Log In: Use your JAMB registration number to log into your profile.
  3. Access the Admission List: Once logged in, locate and click on the “UTME/DE Admission List” link.
  4. Check Your Status: If admitted, your admission details will be displayed, including your course of study.

How to Confirm Admission on JAMB CAPS

In addition to the SLU portal, candidates are advised to confirm their admission on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS). Here’s how:

  1. Visit the JAMB CAPS Portal: Go to https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng and log in with your JAMB profile credentials.
  2. Access Admission Status: From the homepage, click “Check Admission Status” and select “Access my CAPS.”
  3. View Admission Status: In the CAPS dashboard, locate and select the “Admission Status” tab.
  4. Accept or Reject Admission: If you’ve been offered admission, click “Accept” to confirm or “Reject” if you do not wish to proceed.

Important: Once you accept an admission offer on JAMB CAPS, it cannot be reversed.

Next Steps for Admitted Candidates

Candidates offered admission should visit the SLU website and JAMB CAPS regularly for additional instructions on payment of acceptance fees, registration requirements, and documentation. Timely completion of these steps is essential for securing a place in the university.

For Candidates Not Yet Admitted

If your status shows “Not Admitted,” do not be discouraged, as SLU may release further admission lists. Keep checking both the SLU portal and JAMB CAPS for any updates on your admission status.

Congratulations to all successful candidates, and best of luck to those still awaiting their admission decision!
