The University of Kent is happy to announce its role in the Chevening Scholarship program for 2026. This is a great chance for talented international students to get a fully funded postgraduate degree in the UK.
As a partner in the Chevening program, the University of Kent is now open for applications for the 2026 Chevening Scholarships. This scholarship provides a full tuition fee waiver, monthly payments to help with living costs, travel expenses to and from the UK, visa application costs, and a travel grant for attending Chevening events.
Who Can Apply
To apply for the Chevening Scholarship in 2026, you need to:
- Be a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country
- Plan to go back to your home country for at least two years after finishing the scholarship
- Have an undergraduate degree suitable for a one-year postgraduate program at Kent, usually equal to an upper second-class 2:1 honours degree, though this may vary by course. Check our course pages or country-specific criteria for details.
- Have at least two years of work experience
- Apply to three different eligible UK university courses and get an unconditional offer from at least one by July 9, 2026
- Be in the UK while you are on the scholarship
