UNIZIK Admission Into Part-time Degree & Continuing Education Program

Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, is calling for applications from qualified candidates for admission into the Continuing Education Programme (CEP) leading to a Bachelor’s Degree in various disciplines.

Duration

The duration for most faculties is five (5) years, except for Direct Entry in which it is four (4) years. However, the Faculty of Agriculture has a duration of six (6) years for regular entry and five (5) years for Direct Entry. It’s important to note that JAMB score is not a requirement for CEP admission.

Eligibility

To be eligible for admission, candidates must have a minimum of five O’ Level credits in the GCS, SSCE, TCII examinations, or their equivalents. Additionally, candidates must fulfill the Faculty/Department requirements. Applicants with November/December O’ Level results of the same year of admission are not eligible to apply. For those with additional qualifications such as UNIZIK DIPLOMA, UNIZIK JUPEB with 5 grade points and above, OND, NCE, HND, BA/B.Sc, or their equivalent, applying for Direct Entry is encouraged.

Registration

The application and registration process is conducted online and can be completed from anywhere within Nigeria. Candidates are required to visit a Cyber café of their choice and access myedu.unizik.edu.ng. Follow the provided guidelines and instructions to fill out the form. Generate an INVOICE NUMBER and proceed to apply (Application Fee of N10,000) only. Make the payment online using the number on your ATM CARD (VISA OR MASTER CARD) and collect the payment print out. Confirm the payment and complete the online registration form, then print out the completed registration form.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORMS

Candidates are required to proceed to the CEP General Office to submit a photocopy of the online application form’s printout along with copies of all claimed certificates securely attached to the application form. It is mandatory to submit all photocopies of completed online application forms at the CEP office. Failure to do so may result in candidates not being considered for admission.

For Direct Entry candidates, it is essential to attach a copy of any additional qualification/s. Also, ensure the academic transcript for the claimed additional qualification/s is forwarded to the Director, CEP.

Note:

The submission of transcripts for Direct Entry applicants is compulsory. Failure to do so will result in non-consideration for admission.
