The German Academic Exchange Service offers a fully funded scholarship at Federal University of Technology Akure under its In-Country/In-Region scholarship program. Eligibility
To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following conditions:
- Hold a first university degree with good results. Applicants must have at least a Second Class Upper Division or an equivalent grade from a three-year degree program.
- Candidates with a lower grade than Second Class Upper are not eligible.
- Show strong motivation and commitment to their chosen field.
- Have a good understanding of the language used for the program.
- Have completed their last university degree not more than six years before the application date.
- Be citizens or permanent residents of a Sub-Saharan African country.
How to Apply
Follow these steps to submit your application:
- Submit a complete application for the program through the DAAD online portal.
- Create an account on the portal.
- Log in and carefully read the application instructions.
- Complete and submit the application before April 29, 2026.
- Make sure all required documents are included before submission, because incomplete applications will not be accepted.
The DAAD will review all applications submitted through its portal based on its official selection criteria.
At the same time, applicants must also apply separately for admission into the program at Federal University of Technology Akure. Each institution may have its own admission procedure and deadline, so candidates should follow the instructions provided by the university.
