Applications are now open for the 2026 NLNG Undergraduate Scholarship. This scholarship is for Nigerian undergraduates who have just gained admission and are in their first year. The goal is to support bright students and help them do well in school so they can contribute to the country.
NLNG also encourages Persons Living with Disabilities (PLWDs) to apply, as the scholarship is open to all eligible students.
Benefits
Every student who is selected will receive ₦300,000 per year.
Eligibility
To qualify, you must:
- Be a Nigerian citizen living in Nigeria
- Be a full-time 100-level student in the 2024/2025 session at a federal or state university
- Have at least five O’Level credits, including Maths and English, in one sitting
- Be between 18 and 25 years old
- Not be receiving any other scholarship or grant
- Not be related to an NLNG staff member
Required Documents
You will be asked to upload:
- Completed application form
- Recent passport photo (white background)
- O’Level and UTME results
- JAMB and university admission letters
- University student ID
- Birth certificate from NPC
- LGA identification letter
- NIN slip
How to Apply
- Click the application link to visit the NLNG Scholarship portal.
- Apply using your active email and phone number.
- Fill in all required fields online.
- Upload your passport photo and all required documents.
- If shortlisted, you will be invited for an online, computer-based test.
- After the test, successful candidates will be asked to submit more documents.
- Only students who meet all the rules and pass all stages will receive the scholarship.
