Kogi State Polytechnic offers flexible Part‑Time programs for both ND (National Diploma) and HND (Higher National Diploma) levels, allowing working candidates to study at their own pace. Options include:
- ND: Accountancy, Business Administration, Computer Science, Library & Info Science, Office Technology, Public Administration, Diploma in Law, etc. (
- HND: Accountancy, Public Administration, Business Admin, OTM, Computer Science, etc.
Available study centers: Lokoja (main campus), Okene, Kabba, and Anyigba .
Entry Requirements
For ND Programs:
- Minimum 5 credits in O’Level subjects—including English and Math—in no more than two sittings (WAEC, NECO, GCE). Awaiting results not accepted .
For HND Programs:
- ND in a related field with at least Lower Credit (2.50 CGPA) plus:
- Minimum of 1 year industrial training, or
- 2 years industrial attachment if ND grade is Pass .
- 5 O’Level credits as above.
- Transcripts required for those transferring in.
Fees (Forms & Screening)
- Admission Form Fee: ₦6,500 for ND; ₦7,000 for Part-Time HND/ND‑Special.
- Screening Fee: ₦2,500 .
How to Apply
- Visit the official portal: www.kogistatepolytechnic.edu.ng.
- Choose “Apply Now” > Part‑Time Admission.
- Register using your name, email, and valid phone number.
- Complete email verification and log in.
- Fill in personal biodata and select your programme and study centre.
- Generate separate RRR numbers for form fee and screening fee; make online payments.
- Upload required documents (scans):
- O’Level certificates, ND credentials (if applicable), proof of industrial training.
- Passport photographs.
- Transcripts (for HND DE applicants).
- Print out the application acknowledgement/booking slip.
Important Dates
- The admission portal opened for the 2025/2026 session (form now on sale) .
- Closing date for submission has not yet been announced—applicants are encouraged to apply early .

- Make sure you possess all credentials before registering (including transcripts for HND).
