The University of Bristol is accepting applications for the 2026 Think Big Scholarships. These scholarships are for both undergraduate and postgraduate students from other countries. They are designed to help international students study abroad.

International students from anywhere in the world can apply for the Think Big Scholarships at the University of Bristol. If you want to study for a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the UK, you are encouraged to apply. There is no application fee. Scholarship winners may also get a living cost bursary of up to £3,000. This bursary is given in the first year only and is paid directly into your bank account during the first term after you set up a UK bank account.

Eligibility

For Undergraduate Degree:

You must be an overseas fee payer and have applied to a full-time eligible course at the University of Bristol starting in September 2025.
Most courses are eligible, but Medicine, Dentistry, and Veterinary Science are not.
You can apply for the scholarship before you get a formal offer from the University, but you need to have applied to an eligible course.

For Master’s Degree:

You must be an overseas fee payer and have applied to a full-time eligible postgraduate course at the University of Bristol starting in September 2025.
Eligible programs include any one-year taught Master’s or two-year MSc Social Work or MA Law. Distance learning programs do not qualify.
You can also apply for the scholarship before receiving a formal offer, but you must have applied to an eligible program and be waiting for a response.
