WAEC announces mock for 2025 GCE candidates (1st series)

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has officially announced the availability of a free mock examination for candidates registered for the 2025 Computer-Based WASSCE for Private Candidates, First Series. This initiative aims to better prepare candidates for the main examination, offering them an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the examination process and enhance their performance.

Purpose of the Mock Examination

The mock examination is designed to serve several key purposes:

  1. Preparation: It provides candidates with a platform to experience the structure, format, and type of questions they will encounter during the main GCE.
  2. Assessment: Candidates can assess their strengths and weaknesses, allowing them to identify areas that need improvement before the main examination.
  3. Confidence Building: By simulating the real examination environment, the mock helps reduce anxiety and builds confidence among candidates.
