WAEC Update on Change of Venue/Centers in the Ongoing SSCE External (GCE)

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has issued an important update regarding changes in examination venues and schedules for candidates in Lagos State participating in the ongoing Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) for private candidates, commonly referred to as WAEC GCE.

The changes in the exam venue/centers are indicated on the attached image. Candidates are to go through the attached image below to see their new centers.

Important Points for Candidates

  • Check Regularly: Candidates are encouraged to check WAEC’s official platforms and their registered email addresses regularly for any updates on the change of venue process.
  • Prepare for the Examination: Ensure that you have the correct information about your designated examination center before the exam day to avoid any confusion.
  • All candidates registered for this examination are encouraged to report to the specified venue before the designated time.  Please ensure you have all necessary materials and adhere to all examination regulations.
  • Also, be informed that Basic Electronics 3 (practical) exam for all centers in Lagos holds on Friday, November 15th, 2024 @ FSTC, yaba by 9:30am.
  • Follow WAEC Instructions: Adhering to WAEC’s instructions and guidelines is essential for a smooth and stress-free examination experience.

WAEC’s update on the change of venue/centers for the ongoing SSCE External (GCE) underscores the importance of advance planning and official communication.
