YABATECH Post-UTME 2024: Eligibility, Cut-Off Mark, and Registration Details

The Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) has announced the commencement of the 2024 Post-UTME screening for candidates seeking admission into its various programs. Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the YAATECH Post-UTME 2024 screening, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  1. JAMB UTME Score: Candidates must have scored a minimum of 150 for National Diploma (ND) and at least 160 for B.Sc in the 2024 UTME.
  2. Choice of Institution: Applicants must have chosen YAATECH as their first or second choice in the UTME. Candidates who did not choose YAATECH initially can apply by changing their institution of choice via the JAMB portal.
  3. SSCE Requirements: Candidates must possess at least five credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in no more than two sittings of WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB examinations.
  4. Age: Applicants must be at least 16 years old by the time of admission.

To register for the Post-UTME screening, follow these steps:

  1. Visit the YAATECH Portal: Log on to the official YAATECH admission portal at www.yaatech.edu.ng.
  2. Create an Account: Use your JAMB registration number and a valid email address to create an account.
  3. Generate Payment Invoice: After creating an account, generate a payment invoice and proceed to make a payment of N2,000 for the screening exercise.
  4. Complete the Application: Fill in your personal details, academic qualifications, and upload the required documents (e.g., JAMB result, SSCE result, and passport photograph).
  5. Submit and Print: After submitting the application, print the acknowledgment slip and ensure to keep a copy for future reference.
