NELFUND Registration Closing Soon for UNIUYO Students

Students of the University of Uyo have been informed that the registration period for the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) will end in just three days. All students who are qualified for the loan are strongly advised to complete their registration before the deadline.

The reminder was shared in an official statement released by the Directorate of Information and Public Relations of the Students’ Union. Students are encouraged to visit the official NELFUND portal at https://nelf.gov.ng to complete their application as soon as possible.

The statement was signed by Godwin Patrick, the Director of Information and Public Relations.

Important Notice for Year One Students

The union also spoke about the challenges some Year One students are facing during registration. Some fresh students have reported that their matriculation numbers are showing “missing information” on the portal.

Students who are experiencing this problem have been advised to quickly visit the NELFUND Desk Officer’s Office. They are expected to report the issue there for proper checking and approval so they can complete their registration without further delay.

Update on Students’ Complaints

Earlier today, a meeting was held to discuss the different problems students have been facing with the NELFUND process. During the meeting, all complaints were carefully recorded.

The Students’ Union has confirmed that these complaints have been forwarded to the right authorities for action. Students are assured that efforts are being made to solve the problems as quickly as possible.

All affected students are encouraged to stay calm and follow the proper steps to ensure their issues are resolved before the registration deadline.
