ESUT Newly Approved Courses Admission Form 2024/2025

The management of Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) is pleased to announce the availability of the admission form for newly approved courses for the 2024/2025 academic session. This update provides an excellent opportunity for prospective students to enroll in cutting-edge programs recently added to the university’s curriculum.

Newly Approved Courses at ESUT

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has granted approval for ESUT to offer the following new programs starting from the 2024/2025 academic session:

  1. Radiography.
  2. Public Health.
  3. Human Nutrition and Dietetics.
  4. Biomedical Engineering.

These courses are designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in today’s rapidly evolving academic and professional landscapes.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for these newly approved courses, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  1. General Requirements:
    • Selected or changed to ESUT as their first-choice institution in the 2024 UTME but have not been offered admission into the regular programs.
    • Candidates must have scored the minimum cutoff mark as specified by ESUT for their chosen program.
    • A UTME score of 200 and above for Radiography and Public Health.
    • A UTME score of 180 and above for Human Nutrition and Dietetics and Biomedical Engineering.
    • Selected Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as UTME subjects.
  2. O’Level Requirements:
    • A minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including Mathematics and English Language, obtained in not more than two sittings.
  3. Direct Entry Requirements (for DE candidates):
    • Candidates must possess a National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND), or relevant qualification with an upper credit or distinction grade.

How to Apply

Interested candidates should follow these steps to apply:

  1. Change Course on JAMB CAPSChange your course to any of the newly approved courses on JAMB CAPS. Applications for other courses will not be processed.
  2. Register for ESUT Post-UTME: Generate an invoice at ESUT Portal, pay the application fee of N2,000 at any commercial bank or online. Candidates already registered for the 2024 Post-UTME do not need to register again.
  3. Meet O’ Level Requirements: Ensure you meet the minimum SSCE O’ level entry requirements and upload your results on JAMB CAPS.
  4. Candidates admitted into current 100-level programs at ESUT can also apply by purchasing a redeployment form at ESUT  Portal.

Application Deadline

Applications open on Wednesday, 22 January 2025 The deadline for submitting applications for these newly approved courses is Wednesday, 29 January 2025. Late applications may not be considered, so candidates are advised to complete their applications promptly.

Screening Process

Applicants will be invited for a screening exercise upon successful submission of their application forms. The screening details, including the date, venue, and requirements, will be communicated via the email address provided during registration.
