KWACAILS Admission Forms for 2025/2026 Session

The Kwara State College of Arabic and Islamic Legal Studies (KWACAILS), Ilorin, has officially announced the commencement of its admission process for the 2025/2026 academic session. Prospective students are invited to apply for a variety of programs, including National Diploma (ND), Diploma, Advanced Diploma, and Professional Diploma courses.

🎓 Available Programs

National Diploma (ND) Programs

The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) has approved the following ND programs for the 2025/2026 session:

  • ND in Law
  • ND in Sharia and Common Law
  • ND in Computer Science
  • ND in Accountancy
  • ND in Library Science
  • ND in Mass Communication

Interested candidates who have obtained the UTME form and meet all requirements are advised to change their institution on the JAMB website, making KWACAILS their first choice to facilitate admission into these courses.

Diploma and Advanced Diploma Programs

KWACAILS offers a range of diploma programs across various schools:

  • Centre for Degree and Professional Programs (CDPP):
    • Professional Diploma in Education (PDE)
    • Advanced Diploma in Legal Studies (ADLS)
    • Imamship Program
  • School of Arts and Islamic Studies (Two-Year Programs):
    • Diploma in English and History
    • Diploma in English and Islamic Studies
    • Diploma in Islamic Studies and Yoruba
  • School of Languages (Two-Year Programs):
    • Diploma in Arabic and Islamic Studies (Arabic Medium)
    • Diploma in Arabic and Islamic Studies (English Medium)
    • Diploma in Arabic and English
  • School of Education (Three-Year Programs – Equivalent to NCE):
    • Diploma in Arabic, Islamic Studies, and Education
    • Diploma in Islamic Studies, English, and Education
    • Diploma in Islamic Studies, Yoruba, and Education

These programs are designed to lead successful candidates into Higher National Diploma (HND) programs or 200-level degree programs in universities across Nigeria and abroad.

✅ Admission Requirements

For ND Programs:

  • Minimum of five (5) O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings.
  • A valid UTME score.
  • Change of institution to KWACAILS as the first choice on the JAMB portal.

For Diploma and Advanced Diploma Programs:

  • O’Level credits in relevant subjects.
  • Thanawiyyah/Tawjihiyyah certificate from recognized Arabic Senior Secondary Schools.
  • Certificate in Arabic and Islamic Studies from recognized tertiary institutions.
  • Senior Arabic and Islamic Secondary School Certificate Examination (SAISSCE) recognized by the National Board for Arabic and Islamic Studies (NBAIS).

📝 Application Procedure

Interested applicants should follow these steps to apply:

  1. Visit the Application Portal:
  2. Create an Account:
    • Click on ‘Apply’ and fill in the required personal information.
    • Your UTME number will serve as your username, and your surname as the default password.
  3. Login and Complete Application:
    • Log in using your credentials.
    • Upload a recent passport photograph (not more than 25KB in size, plain background).
    • Select your desired program.
    • Proceed to make payment using an ATM card on the portal.
  4. Submit Application:
    • After payment, complete the application form and submit.
    • Print the acknowledgment slip for your records.

Note: Applicants can pause the application process at any stage and resume later.

💰 Application Fees

  • Regular Diploma Programs: ₦7,500
  • Diploma in Arabic and Islamic Studies: ₦5,000
  • Professional Diploma in Education (PDE): ₦10,000
  • Advanced Diploma in Legal Studies (ADLS): ₦10,000
  • Imamship Training Program: ₦10,000

All payments should be made using an ATM card through the application portal.
