The College offers the following midwifery programs:

Admission Requirements

To be eligible for admission, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Basic Midwifery Program

  1. Possess a minimum of five (5) credits in O’Level results (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB), including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Must not exceed two sittings.
  2. Be at least 17 years old by the time of admission.

Post-Basic Midwifery Program

  1. Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
  2. Possess at least five (5) credits in O’Level results, including the required science subjects.

Application Process

Interested candidates are required to follow these steps to apply:

  1. Visit the Website: Go to the Tambuwal College of Nursing Sciences website and click “Online Application Portal” under the Students section.
  2. Start a new application
    Select “Start New Application” and read all instructions carefully.
  3. Create an account
    Enter your details and click “Register”. You will receive a copy of your details by email.
  4. Generate an invoice
    Log in with your username and password, then click “Generate Invoice”.
  5. Make payment
    Use one of these methods to pay:
    • Online through Payarena by entering your payment ID and email address.
    • At the POS terminal on campus by printing the invoice and presenting it at the College of Nursing Sciences Tambuwal.
  6. Confirm payment
    Log in to the portal again to confirm payment. Upload your passport photo, update your bio-data, input your academic records, and upload your signature.
  7. Print your slips
    Print your Application Acknowledgment Slip and Payment Receipt for your records.

  • Result release: 10 February 2025
