IMSU Supplementary Admission Form for 2024/2025 Academic Session

Imo State University (IMSU), Owerri, has officially announced the sale of its Supplementary Admission Form for the 2024/2025 academic session. This supplementary admission process provides a second opportunity for candidates who were not admitted during the initial admission cycle to secure a place in the university.

The supplementary admission is open to both UTME and Direct Entry (DE) candidates, enabling prospective students to gain admission into programs with available spaces.

Eligibility for IMSU Supplementary Admission

To be eligible for the IMSU supplementary admission, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  1. UTME Candidates:
  • Candidates who scored 170 and above in the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
  • Candidates who selected IMSU as their first-choice institution during the JAMB registration or have processed a change of institution to IMSU.

2. Direct Entry (DE) Candidates:

    • Applicants with suitable qualifications, such as A-level results, OND, NCE, or HND.

    3. O’Level Requirements:

      • Applicants must have at least five (5) credits in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings.

      4. Change of Course:

        • Candidates who applied for competitive courses but could not meet the departmental cut-off mark can apply for supplementary admission into less competitive programs.
        • Candidates that applied to study Mass Communication are at liberty to change to any of the above programs in the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies in the supplementary application form. Admitted candidates will be informed on when to do a change of programme on the JAMB Portal.

        How to Apply for IMSU Supplementary Admission

        Follow these steps to apply for the supplementary admission:

        1. Visit the IMSU Portal

        2. Generate Payment Invoice

          • Log in with your JAMB registration number and generate a payment invoice for the supplementary admission application.

          3. Pay the Application Fee

            • The application fee is ₦10,000, payable through Remita or other approved payment channels.

            4. Fill the Supplementary Admission Form

              • After payment, complete the online supplementary admission form by providing accurate personal and academic information.

              5. Upload Necessary Documents
