The Rivers State University of Science and Technology (RSUST) has released details on its supplementary admission process for the 2024/2025 academic session. This supplementary admission provides an opportunity for candidates who may have missed out on the primary admission list or wish to apply for programs with remaining vacancies.

1. Eligibility Criteria for Supplementary Admission

To be eligible for the RSUST supplementary admission, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • UTME Score: Candidates must have scored at least 180 in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). Some programs may require a higher score, depending on competitiveness. Also, candidates must possess the right subject combination in the UTME for the advertised program.
  • Choice of Institution: Only candidates who selected RSUST as their first choice in the UTME registration are eligible. However, candidates who initially chose another institution can apply if they are willing to change their institution to RSUST.
  • Post-UTME Screening: Candidates must have participated in RSUST’s Post-UTME screening exercise for the 2024/2025 session.
  • O’Level Requirements: Applicants must possess at least five credits in relevant subjects, including Mathematics and English Language, as required for their chosen course of study.
