The International Priority Scholarship, popularly called IPS, is a scholarship program offered by Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta. The scholarship is open to both undergraduate and postgraduate students and is designed to support young people from developing countries who wish to further their education. Through this program, the university hopes to give more international students the chance to study in a supportive academic environment.
Who the Scholarship Is For
The IPS Scholarship is meant for students from developing countries. It is open to those who have completed Senior High School and want to study for an undergraduate degree, as well as those who already hold a bachelor’s degree and want to continue with a postgraduate program. The scholarship covers undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral studies at Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta.

- 8 semesters for Bachelor’s degree programs
- 4 semesters for Master’s degree programs

Eligibility
To qualify for the IPS Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be an international student
- Must be willing and ready to study an undergraduate or postgraduate program at Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta

- Must meet the university’s English language requirements
