University of Westminster Scholarship 2026: Eligibility, Benefits, and Application Process

The University of Westminster is now receiving applications for its fully funded studentships. These opportunities are open to both UK (home) and international students who want to study for a postgraduate research degree in different departments of the university.

The Graduate School and all academic schools at the university support strong doctoral programs. They aim to help students carry out high-quality research in different fields.

Scholarship Duration and Benefits

Students who are selected will receive full financial support throughout their program. The studentship covers:

  • Full tuition fees (home or overseas rate)
  • An annual living allowance
  • Funding for conferences, travel, and training

The award includes:

  • A full home tuition fee waiver
  • An annual stipend of £22,780 for the 2025/2026 academic year (this amount may increase each year in line with UKRI rates) for up to three years
  • Up to £2,000 per year for travel, living costs during research trips, conference support, and extra training opportunities
Eligibility

To qualify for the studentship, applicants must:

  • Have at least a Second Class Upper (2:1) degree or its equivalent. A Master’s degree is preferred (or currently in progress).
  • Meet the university’s English language requirements.
  • Meet the admission requirements for the specific programme they are applying for.

  • Recommendation letters
