Taraba State College of Nursing & Midwifery ND Nursing Admission 2024/2025

The Taraba State College of Nursing and Midwifery, Jalingo, has officially announced the commencement of the application process for admission into the National Diploma (ND) Nursing program for the 2024/2025 academic session. This commences Monday,12th August, 2024 to Thursday, 12th September, 2024.  Aspiring nurses are invited to apply for the program as the institution continues its mission to produce skilled and professional healthcare providers.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the ND Nursing program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

1. Educational Requirements:
– Applicants must possess a minimum of five (5) credit passes in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB O’ Level examinations. These credits must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, obtained in not more than two sittings.

2. Age Requirement:
– Candidates must be at least 17 years of age by the time of admission.

3. JAMB UTME:
– Applicants must have participated in the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and obtained a score that meets the cut-off mark set by the College for ND Nursing admission.

4. Indigene Status:
– While the program is open to candidates from all parts of the country, special consideration may be given to indigenes of Taraba State.

Application Process

The application for the ND Nursing program can be done online through the College’s official admission portal. Applicants are required to:

1. Visit the College Website: Go to the official website of the Taraba State College of Nursing and Midwifery at [insert link here].
2. Create an Account: Create a new account or log in to an existing account on the admission portal.
3. Complete the Application Form: Fill in the required information accurately and upload necessary documents, such as O’ Level results and passport photographs.
4. Make Payment: Pay the application fee as directed on the portal. The payment can be made online or at designated banks.
5. Submit the Application: After completing the form, submit it and print the acknowledgment slip for reference.

Screening and Admission

Candidates who meet the eligibility requirements will be invited for a screening exercise, which may include an entrance examination and an interview. The specific details of the screening process will be communicated to applicants through their registered email addresses and phone numbers.

Important Notice

  • Physical verification is scheduled for Thursday, 12th September, 2024.
  • Candidates are to come along with original and photocopies of printed documents, UTME slip, testimonial of last secondary school attended, scratch card and all other relevant documents during the physical verification exercise.
