The University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) has officially released its admission list for the 2024/2025 academic session. Candidates who applied to UNIPORT for undergraduate studies and participated in the post-UTME screening exercise can now check their admission status. The admission list includes names of candidates who have been granted provisional admission into various degree programs across multiple faculties.
How to Check the UNIPORT Admission List on JAMB CAPS
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) is an online platform where candidates can confirm their admission status. Follow these steps to check your admission status on JAMB CAPS:
Step 1: Visit the JAMB E-facility Portal
- Open your browser and visit the JAMB CAPS portal: https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/.
- Log in with your JAMB profile email and password.
Step 2: Navigate to “Check Admission Status”
- Once logged in, click on “Check Admission Status” on the main page.
- Select “Access my CAPS” to open the CAPS dashboard.
Step 3: Check Admission Status on CAPS
- In the CAPS dashboard, locate and click on the “Admission Status” tab.
- Here, you will be able to view your admission status.
Step 4: Accept or Reject the Admission
- If you have been offered admission, the “Accept” and “Reject” buttons will be displayed.
- Click “Accept” if you are satisfied with the admission offer, or “Reject” if you do not wish to accept it.
Note: Once you accept an offer of admission, you cannot reverse your decision.

What to Do If You’re Not Yet Admitted
If your admission status shows “Not Admitted,” keep checking the JAMB CAPS portal periodically, as admission updates may still occur.
