Admission Requirements
Undergraduate Programs
- Contact One (Year One Entry): Candidates must possess at least five credits in SSCE, including English Language and Mathematics.
- Contact Two (Direct Entry): Applicants must hold a relevant NCE or Diploma with Distinction, Upper, or Lower Credit from a recognized institution. The program must have been at least two academic years in duration, and candidates must also have five SSCE credits.)
Postgraduate Diploma Programs
- PGDE: Applicants must hold a degree or HND in a relevant field.
- PGDTE: Candidates must have a degree, HND, or equivalent in Science, Technology, or Business Education.
Application Fees
- Undergraduate Programmes: ₦10,000
- Postgraduate Diploma Programmes (PGDE/PGDTE): ₦25,000
- Processing Fee (for in-person applications): ₦2,500
Application Procedure
Online Application
- Visit the UNIJOS application portal.
- Select the desired program and complete the online application form.
- Pay the application fee using the provided payment options.
- Submit the completed form and print a copy for your records.
In-Person Application
- Visit the Institute of Education, Main Campus, Bauchi Road, Jos.
- Proceed to the Finance Office to obtain the application form.
- Pay the application and processing fees.
- Complete and submit the form at the designated office.
Application Deadline
All completed forms, along with photocopies of relevant academic documents, must be submitted to the Institute on or before 30 May 2025.
