UNN Shopping/Change of Course Form for 2024/2025 Admission

The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has announced the availability of the Shopping/Change of Course form for the 2024/2025 academic session. This provides an opportunity for candidates who did not gain admission into their initial choice of programs to apply for available spaces in other departments.

What is the Shopping/Change of Course Form?

The Shopping/Change of Course form allows candidates who meet the university’s general admission requirements but were not admitted into their first-choice programs to opt for alternative courses with available vacancies. This process is typically open to candidates who scored above the cut-off mark for their desired new course.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible to apply for the Shopping/Change of Course form, candidates must:

  1. Participate in the UNN Post-UTME Screening: Only candidates who took part in the Post-UTME screening exercise are eligible.
  2. Meet the Cut-Off Mark: Candidates must have scored above the JAMB cut-off mark for the new course they wish to apply for.
  3. Satisfy O’Level Requirements: Applicants must possess the required O’Level credits for the new course, as specified by the university.
  4. Be Ready to Change Course: Only candidates willing to study in departments different from their initial application should apply.

How to Apply for the UNN Shopping/Change of Course Form

Follow these steps to complete your application:

  1. Visit the Official UNN Portal: Log in to the university’s admission portal.
  2. Generate Payment Invoice: Create a payment invoice for the Shopping/Change of Course form.
  3. Pay the Application Fee: Pay the specified non-refundable application fee via the designated payment platform.
  4. Fill Out the Form:
  • Provide personal information such as name, JAMB registration number, and current course.
  • Select your preferred new course from the list of available programs.
  1. Upload Required Documents: Attach relevant documents, including your Post-UTME result, O’Level certificates, and evidence of payment.
  2. Submit and Print Confirmation Slip: After submitting your application, print the confirmation slip for your records.

Application Deadline

Applications open on Monday, 9 December 2024, and close on Monday, 6 January 2025.

  • Single Application: Candidates are allowed to apply for only one course. Multiple applications will lead to disqualification.
