Things to Take to the JAMB Exam Hall, 2025/2026

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) conducts the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) annually for candidates seeking admission into Nigerian universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education. Mandatory Items to Take to the JAMB Exam Hall

The following are the only items candidates are officially permitted to bring into the JAMB examination hall:

1. JAMB Examination Slip

Candidates must print their examination slip from the JAMB portal before the exam date.

2. Original and Photocopy of JAMB Registration Slip

This document is crucial as it confirms the candidate’s eligibility to sit for the exam.

3. A Valid Means of Identification

Candidates must bring a valid identification document, such as the National Identification Number (NIN) slip, or an officially recognized school ID card.

4. A Face Mask

Due to health regulations, especially following past pandemic measures, candidates may be required to wear a face mask before entering the exam hall.

Spectacles with Smart Technology
Food, Drinks, or Water Bottles
Jewelry or Metal Accessories
Writing Materials Not Approved by JAMB
Flash Drives or Storage Devices
Face Caps, Hoodies, or Any Unnecessary Clothing Accessories

Candidates found with any prohibited item may be disqualified or have their results canceled. Therefore, it is important to adhere strictly to JAMB’s guidelines.
