The Federal University of Lafia (FULAFIA) is pleased to announce the commencement of its Part-Time Degree Programs for the 2025/2026 academic session. These programs, offered through the Centre for Continuing Education and Professional Development (CCEPD), are designed to provide flexible learning opportunities for individuals seeking to advance their education while managing other commitments.

  • B.A. English
  • B.A. History and International Relations
• Faculty of Science:
  • B.Sc. Computer Science
• Faculty of Education:
  • B.LIS Library and Information Science
• Faculty of Social Sciences:
  • B.Sc. Economics
  • B.Sc. Political Science
  • B.Sc. Sociology
  • B.Sc. Social Work
  • B.Sc. Criminology and Security Studies (Conversion program not applicable)
• Faculty of Management Sciences:
  • B.Sc. Accounting
  • B.Sc. Business Administration

Entry Requirements:

• 100 Level Admission:
  • Minimum of five (5) O’Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics.
• 200 Level Admission:
  • National Diploma (ND), National Certificate of Education (NCE), Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB), or a recognized university diploma in a relevant field, along with the O’Level requirements.
• Conversion Programme:
  • Higher National Diploma (HND) or a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution in a related discipline, plus the O’Level requirements.

Program Duration:

• 100 Level Entry: Minimum of twelve (12) semesters.
• 200 Level Entry: Minimum of ten (10) semesters.
• Conversion Programme: Minimum of four (4) semesters.

Application Procedure:

1. JAMB Application:
   • Candidates must apply through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) portal, selecting FULAFIA as their institution of choice.
2. CCEPD Portal Registration:
   • After obtaining the JAMB registration number, proceed to the FULAFIA CCEPD online portal to process the admission.
3. Payment of Fees:
   • JAMB Application Fee: ₦3,500.00
   • CCEPD Admission Processing Fee: ₦12,000.00
   • All payments should be made via the REMITA platform.

Application Timeline:

• The application portal opens on Monday, February 24, 2025, and closes on Friday, May 30, 2025.

Important Notes:

• The B.Sc. Criminology and Security Studies programme is not available for the Conversion Programme.
• Ensure all application steps are completed before the closing date to avoid disqualification.
