Federal University Lokoja Announces 2024/2025 Part-Time Degree Admission

The Institute of Continuing Education at Federal University Lokoja (FUL) is now accepting applications for its Part-Time Degree Programs for the 2024/2025 academic session. These programs are tailored for individuals who are unable to pursue full-time university education, with classes scheduled on Fridays and Saturdays to accommodate working professionals. citeturn0search0

Available Programs:

  • B.Sc. Political Science
  • B.A. History and International Studies
  • B.Sc. Economics
  • B.Sc. Geography
  • B.A. English and Literary Studies

Program Duration:

  • Part-Time Part-1 (100 Level): 4 years, comprising 3 contact periods annually.
  • Part-Time Part-2 (Direct Entry, 200 Level): 3 years, also with 3 contact periods each year.

Admission Requirements:

  • 100 Level Entry:
    • A minimum of five (5) O’Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in no more than two (2) sittings.
  • 200 Level Direct Entry:
    • Five (5) relevant O’Level credits, including English and Mathematics, secured in no more than two (2) sittings.
    • An Upper Credit pass in a pertinent National Diploma (ND) programme.

Application Procedure:

  1. Visit the FUL official website at www.fulokoja.edu.ng.
  2. Navigate to the Institute of Continuing Education Portal or directly access https://ug.fulokoja.edu.ng/ioce/.
  3. Generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) and proceed with the payment either online or at a designated bank.
  4. Complete the application form on the portal.
  5. Save and print the finalized application form for your records.

Application Fee:

A non-refundable fee of ₦20,000.00 is required.
