JAMB Cut Off Mark 2024/2025 Session

The authorities of the Joint Admissions And Matriculation Board (JAMB) after due consultation with relevant stakeholders in educational sector has approved 140 as the minimum cut-off mark for applicants wishing to be admitted into tertiary institutions in Nigeria.

The benchmarks 140 for universities and 100 for polytechnics and colleges of education were arrived at during the 2024 annual meeting on admissions into the tertiary institutions held in Abuja. Though the meeting decides the minimum point, “Institutions have the liberty to raise their individual minimum points higher than the agreed benchmark.”

It is to be noted that no institution will be allowed to admit students who score below the approved cut-off marks (140 for universities and 100 for polytechnics) for the respective institutions of higher learning.
