Fed Poly Ado Announces Deadline For Regularization of Admissions on JAMB CAPS For Part-time/Evening Students

The management of the Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti, has issued a crucial notice to all part-time and evening program students. This is regarding the regularization of their admissions on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS). This announcement affects students admitted from 2017 to date.

The management received information from the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) that many students who finished their National Diploma Programs through Part-time/Evening did not follow the required process to regularize their admissions using JAMB-CAPS before enrolling in Higher National Diploma (HND) Programs. It was also noted that even those who followed the procedure failed to submit the JAMB Admission letter printed to the polytechnic to complete the regularization process.

Important Deadline

The deadline for the regularization process has been set for Thursday, 22nd August, 2024.This is to allow further necessary action by the institution and to meet the JAMB stipulated deadline of 31st August, 2024. All affected students are strongly advised to complete the regularization process before this date to ensure their admission status is properly recognized by JAMB.

Who Needs to Regularize?

This directive applies to all part-time and evening program students who were admitted into the Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti between 2017 and the current academic session but have not yet regularized their admission with JAMB.

Steps for Regularization

  1. Visit the JAMB Office for regularization of admissions on JAMB CAPS.
  2. Submit a copy of the JAMB admission letter and ND admission letter at the Admissions office of the Directorate of Academic Affairs.
  3. Write their names and other details at the Students Affairs Unit for collation.

Consequences of Non-Compliance

Students who fail to regularize their admission by the specified deadline risk having their academic records deemed incomplete. This could result in the inability to obtain a valid National Diploma (ND) or Higher National Diploma (HND) certificate from the institution. Furthermore, such students may encounter difficulties in future academic or professional endeavors where proof of regularized admission is required.

Final Advice

Affected students are encouraged to act swiftly to avoid any complications. The regularization process is a necessary step to ensure that your academic journey at the Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti is officially recognized by JAMB, which is crucial for your future academic and career pursuits.

For any further inquiries or assistance, students can contact the institution’s admissions office or visit the JAMB office for guidance.
