UNICAL Extension of Post-UTME Registration Deadline for the 2024/2025 Academic Session

The management of the University of Calabar (UNICAL) has announced an extension of the Post-UTME registration deadline for the 2024/2025 academic session. This decision was made to accommodate prospective candidates who have been unable to complete their registration within the initial timeframe.

New Registration Deadline

The new deadline for the Post-UTME registration has been extended to Tuesday, 20th August,2024. Candidates are advised to take advantage of this extension to complete their registration process without further delays.

Why the Extension?

The extension was prompted by the need to give more candidates the opportunity to apply, particularly those who encountered difficulties during the registration process. These challenges may have included issues with payment processing, network issues, or difficulty in accessing necessary documents.

Registration Process

Candidates who are yet to register are reminded that the process remains the same. To complete their registration:

1. Visit the official UNICAL Post-UTME portal at [insert portal link].
2. Generate a payment slip and proceed to make a payment of [insert amount] via the available payment methods.
3. Return to the portal to complete the registration form, providing all required details.
4. Upload the necessary documents, including passport photographs, JAMB UTME result slip, and O’ level results.
5. Print out the confirmation slip after successful registration.

Important Notes

– Candidates should ensure that their O’ level results are correctly uploaded to the JAMB CAPS portal to avoid disqualification during the admission process.
– The university also emphasizes that the Post-UTME screening exercise is mandatory for all candidates seeking admission into any undergraduate program at UNICAL.

Final Advice

Prospective students are urged to utilize this extended period wisely. Completing the registration as early as possible will help avoid the last-minute rush that could lead to errors or other unforeseen challenges.

For further inquiries or assistance, candidates can contact the UNICAL admissions office via the official channels provided on the university’s website.
