ATBU Post-UTME/DE 2024: Eligibility, Cut-off Mark, and Registration Details

The Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi, has opened applications for its Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening for the 2024/2025 academic session. Prospective students are encouraged to apply as the university continues its tradition of providing high-quality education in various fields of study.

Eligibility Criteria

  1.  UTME Candidates:
  • Applicants must have chosen ATBU as their first choice in the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
  •  They must have scored a minimum of 170 in the UTME to be eligible for the Post-UTME screening.

      2.  Direct Entry (DE) Candidates:

  •  Direct Entry candidates who selected ATBU as their first choice and possess relevant A-Level qualifications (such as NCE, ND, HND, or IJMB) are eligible for the screening exercise.

     3.  O’ Level Requirements:

  •  Candidates must have obtained at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or GCE exams.

   4.   Age Requirement:

  •  Candidates must be at least 16 years old by the time of admission.

Registration Process

To apply for the ATBU Post-UTME/DE screening, candidates should follow these steps:

    1. Visit the ATBU Admission Portal:

  • Go to the official university website at [insert portal link here].

  2. Generate Payment Invoice:

  • Generate an invoice for the Post-UTME/DE screening fee and make the payment through the designated bank or online payment platform.

  3. Fill the Application Form:

  • After making the payment, log back into the portal and fill out the Post-UTME/DE application form with accurate information.

 4. Upload Required Documents:

  •  Upload your UTME result slip, O’ Level results, and other necessary documents as requested.

 5. Submit the Application:

  •  Review the application form carefully and submit it. Ensure to print the acknowledgment slip for reference.

Registration Deadline

The portal will remain open for two (2) weeks. In other to enable prospective candidates update their bio-data commencing from Thursday, 15th August, 2024 to Sunday, 29th August, 2024.

Important Notes

  •  Only candidates who have successfully uploaded their O’ Level results to the JAMB CAPS portal will be considered for admission.
  • Candidates are required to provide a valid and active email address and phone number during registration.
