Adekunle Ajasin University (AAUA), Akungba-Akoko, has opened applications for admission into its Institute of Part-Time Programs for the 2026/2027 academic session. Interested and qualified candidates can apply for different programs offered at postgraduate, undergraduate, and diploma levels.
The school explained that the admission notice also includes the list of courses available, study centers, application fees, and steps for applying.
AAUA study centers for part-time programs
The part-time programs will run at the following centers:
Akure Study Centre
St. Thomas Aquinas College, Akure, Ondo State.
Akungba Study Centre
Main campus of AAUA in Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State.
Available programs
The programs available include professional master’s degrees, postgraduate diplomas, undergraduate degrees, and a diploma course.
Professional master’s programs
These programs will run for two academic sessions.
- Master in Security Psychology (MSP)
- Master in Managerial Psychology (MMP)
- Master in Peace and Conflict Studies (MPCS)
- Master in Strategic Studies (MSS)
- Master in Business Administration (MBA)
- Master in Public Administration (MPA)
- Master in Public Policy and Governance (MPPG)
Postgraduate diploma programs
These programs will run for one academic session.
- Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Management (PGDFM)
- Postgraduate Diploma in Strategic Studies (PGDSS)
- Postgraduate Diploma in Public Policy and Governance (PGDPPG)
- Postgraduate Diploma in Public Administration (PGDPA)
- Postgraduate Diploma in Peace and Conflict Studies (PGDPCS)
- Postgraduate Diploma in Mass Communication (PGDMAC)
Undergraduate programs
These courses will run for four or five academic sessions.

Application fees
The application fees for the programs are:
Postgraduate programs
Master’s and postgraduate diploma forms cost ₦20,000.
Undergraduate program
The application form costs ₦12,500.
Diploma program
The application form costs ₦10,000.
How to apply
Applicants should complete their application online through the AAUA part-time admission portal.
- Visit the AAUA application portal.
- Click “Advertisement Documents” to check the requirements for your chosen programme.
- Click “Apply Now” and create an account.
- Log in and select “Payment Method”, then click “Pay Now.”
- Pay through ETRANZACT using an ATM card or bank transfer through Credo.
- After payment, fill out the application form and print the acknowledgement slip.
- Use the token sent by the bank to confirm your payment.
Important notice for applicants
Applicants should not bring printed forms to the office. Shortlisted candidates will be announced online.
The university also explained that admitted candidates will be added to a WhatsApp group, so applicants should use an active phone number that is connected to WhatsApp.
