AAU Post-UTME/DE 2024: Eligibility, Cut-off Mark, and Registration Details

Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, has announced the details for the 2024 Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening exercise for admission into various undergraduate programs for the 2024/2025 academic session.  Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the AAU Post-UTME/DE screening, candidates must meet the following requirements:

1. JAMB UTME Candidates:
– Candidates must have selected Ambrose Alli University as their first choice in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
– They must have scored a minimum of 170 in the UTME. However, some competitive courses may require a higher cut-off mark, as determined by the university.

2. Direct Entry (DE) Candidates:
– DE candidates must have chosen AAU as their first choice and possess at least two Advanced Level passes or equivalent qualifications in relevant subjects.
– They must also have applied for Direct Entry admission through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

3. O’ Level Requirements:
– All candidates (UTME and DE) must possess a minimum of five (5) O’ Level credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics. These credits must be obtained in not more than two sittings in examinations such as WAEC, NECO, or equivalent.

4. Age Requirement:
– Candidates should be at least 16 years old at the time of admission.

The general cut-off mark for AAU’s 2024 Post-UTME screening is 140. However, some departments, particularly those offering professional or competitive courses, may have higher cut-off marks.  Registration Details

Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can proceed with the registration process as follows:

1. Online Registration:
– Visit the AAU official website http://www.aaue.waeup.org/applicants/utme2024. and click on the “2024 Post-UTME/DE Registration” link.
– Create an account using a valid email address and phone number.

2. Payment of Screening Fee:
– After creating an account, proceed to pay the screening fee of N2,000. Payment can be made online using an ATM card or at designated banks.

3. Filling the Registration Form:
– Complete the online registration form by providing accurate personal and academic details.
– Upload your recent passport-sized photograph, UTME result slip, O’ Level result(s), and other required documents.

4. Submission:
– Review the information provided to ensure it is correct, and submit the registration form.
– Print out the confirmation slip for future reference.

 Important Notes

– Candidates are required to come to the screening venue with their Post-UTME/DE registration slip, UTME/DE result slip, and O’ Level certificates.
– Any falsification of information will result in disqualification.
– The university does not tolerate any form of malpractice during the screening process.
