In light of the current situation, the Senate of Abia State University, during its 273rd Regular meeting, has authorized the use of UTME scores and O’ level or Degree results for the online screening of candidates in the 2024/2025 Admissions Exercise.
The University wishes to inform prospective candidates, their parents, guardians, and the public that the previously announced Post-UTME screening exercise, which was scheduled to take place from 4th to 6th September, 2024, has been canceled. Candidates who have already enrolled for the 2024/2025 Post-UTME screening exercise are advised to ensure that their O’ level or Degree results are uploaded on the JAMB portal, as required.
The University has extended the registration period for the screening exercise by two (2) weeks. Candidates who have not yet registered are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity and complete their registration on or before Friday, 20th September, 2024.
Candidates Qualified for the Screening Exercise
- Candidates who have selected Abia State University as their 1st or 2nd choice or those considering a switch to ABSU, are eligible for the upcoming screening exercise.
- Candidates who have scored 140 and above in the UTME.
- Candidates who meet the University’s O’ Level credit requirements, are encouraged to participate in the exercise.
- All Direct Entry Candidates.
To register for the screening, candidates are required to log in to www.abiastateuniversity.edu.ng and make a payment of N2,000.00 at any of the designated banks.
