ABU Zaria Schedule For Re-sit Examinations, 2023/2024

The Senate of Ahmadu Bello University has approved the schedule for the 2023/2024 Special Re-sit Examinations at its 539th (Regular) meeting on Thursday, 29th August, 2024, in accordance with Part 1 (1) (xiii) of the Examination Management/Examination Regulations.

  • Registration for the Special Re-sit Examinations will take place from Mon. 21st Oct., 2024 to Sat. 26th Oct., 2024.
  • The revision period for the Special Re-sit Examinations is scheduled from Mon. 21 Oct., 2024 to Sat. 2nd Nov., 2024.
  • The Special Re-sit Examinations will take place from Mon. 4th Nov., 2024 to Sat. 9th Nov., 2024.
  • The registration fee for the examinations is N10,000.00, and the charges per course for a student are N5,000.00.

Note

The Special Re-sit Examination is intended for specific categories of students who are unable to graduate, which  includes;

  1. Final year students with not more than four (4) outstanding courses to graduate. However, the re-sit is optional for final year students whose residency has not expired.
  2. Students of 300-level, 500-level, and 6oo-level of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.
  3. 300-level of pre-clinical programs in the College of Medical Sciences.
  4. During the Special Re-sit Examination, the maximum attainable score is the minimum pass score, which is 40% for classified degrees and 50% for unclassified degrees.
