American University of Nigeria (AUN) Post UTME/DE Form for 2025/2026 Undergraduate Admission

The American University of Nigeria (AUN), located in Yola, Adamawa State, has announced the commencement of its Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) application process for the 2025/2026 academic session. Renowned for its American-style liberal arts education, AUN offers a diverse range of undergraduate programs across various disciplines.

Admission Requirements

UTME Candidates

Prospective UTME applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • JAMB Score: A minimum score of 160 in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
  • O’Level Results: At least five (5) credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in no more than two sittings in SSCE (WAEC, NECO, GCE, IGCSE, or NABTEB).
  • Subject Requirements:
    • For Engineering and Technology programs: Credits in Mathematics, English Language, Physics, and Chemistry.
    • For Law (LL.B. Honors): A credit in Literature-in-English is additionally required.

Direct Entry Candidates

Applicants seeking admission through Direct Entry should fulfill the following:

  • Academic Qualifications: Possession of a National Diploma (ND), Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE), Higher National Diploma (HND), or A-Level passes in relevant subjects.
  • O’Level Results: Five (5) credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in relevant subjects.
  • Transcripts: Official transcripts from previous institutions attended.
  • Recommendation Letter: A letter of recommendation from a dean or appropriate university administrator.

International Students

International applicants are required to provide:

  • Secondary School Results: External examination results such as IGCSE, SSCE, the Bac, or the IB program.
  • Transcripts: Secondary school transcripts for the last three years.
  • English Language Proficiency: Evidence of proficiency through tests like TOEFL, IELTS, or equivalent.
  • Personal Essay: A statement explaining the choice of AUN and future ambitions.
  • Identification: Photocopy of National Identity Card or Passport, along with the appropriate student visa.
  • Photographs: Four passport-sized photographs.

  2. Complete the Application Form: Fill out the online form with accurate personal and academic information.
  3. Upload Required Documents: Submit necessary documents, including O’Level results, UTME score, transcripts, recommendation letters, and personal essay.
  4. Submit the Application: Review all information and submit the completed application form.

Hard Copy Application
