Admission Requirements
UTME Candidates
Prospective UTME applicants must meet the following criteria:
- JAMB Score: A minimum score of 160 in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
- O’Level Results: At least five (5) credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in no more than two sittings in SSCE (WAEC, NECO, GCE, IGCSE, or NABTEB).
- Subject Requirements:
- For Engineering and Technology programs: Credits in Mathematics, English Language, Physics, and Chemistry.
- For Law (LL.B. Honors): A credit in Literature-in-English is additionally required.
Direct Entry Candidates
Applicants seeking admission through Direct Entry should fulfill the following:
- Academic Qualifications: Possession of a National Diploma (ND), Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE), Higher National Diploma (HND), or A-Level passes in relevant subjects.
- O’Level Results: Five (5) credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in relevant subjects.
- Transcripts: Official transcripts from previous institutions attended.
- Recommendation Letter: A letter of recommendation from a dean or appropriate university administrator.
International Students
International applicants are required to provide:
- Secondary School Results: External examination results such as IGCSE, SSCE, the Bac, or the IB program.
- Transcripts: Secondary school transcripts for the last three years.
- English Language Proficiency: Evidence of proficiency through tests like TOEFL, IELTS, or equivalent.
- Personal Essay: A statement explaining the choice of AUN and future ambitions.
- Identification: Photocopy of National Identity Card or Passport, along with the appropriate student visa.
- Photographs: Four passport-sized photographs.
