Attention to all newly admitted students, university community, and the general public:
The 31st Combined Matriculation Ceremony of the Benue State University for Regular Freshmen of the 2023/2024 Academic Session/Sandwich and Part-Time Freshmen for the 2020/2021, 2021/2022, and 2022/2023 Academic Sessions, originally scheduled for Friday, 9th August, 2024, has been rescheduled. The ceremony will now take place on Friday, 23rd August, 2024 at 9:00am at the New Convocation Square. Matriculating students are kindly requested to be dressed in their respective faculty academic gowns and be seated by 8:30 am for the commencement of the ceremony.
To participate in the Matriculation Ceremony, newly admitted students should get in touch with their Faculty Officers, Secretaries of the Sandwich Program, or the Centre for Continuing Education. They will receive Academic gowns upon payment of N2,000.00 via either Fidelity Bank plc account number 5030023693 or Zenith Bank account number 1011136506.
All undergraduate students admitted to the University are reminded to complete their registration by Thursday, 22nd August, 2024. Additionally, a 2-day Orientation Exercise will precede the Matriculation Ceremony, taking place from Wednesday, 21st to Thursday, 22nd August, 2024.
Considering the information provided, the days scheduled for the Orientation Exercise and Matriculation Ceremony will be free of lectures for the new undergraduate students.
