The FCM Foundation Board Scholarship (FCM FBS) is now accepting applications from qualified Nigerian undergraduate students for the 2024 academic year. The aim of this first scholarships program is to provide a onetime academic support for female Muslim students currently in their 200 and 300 levels at selected institutions across the country.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the FCM Foundation Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- The scholarship is exclusively available to female Muslim students.
- Applicants must have a strong academic record, typically with a minimum GPA of 4.5 or it’s equivalent.
- Applicants must be currently enrolled in either 100 or 300 level at one of the 22 eligible institutions.
- Must be available to attend a compulsory one-day mentorship session in Lagos in November 2024.
Application Documents
Applicants are required to submit the following documents:
- A valid student identification card from their current institution
- A reference letter from a recognized Islamic organization addressed to “The Executive Director, First Class Muslim Foundation, Lagos, Nigeria.” The letter should be printed on official letterhead and offer a genuine assessment of the applicant’s character. Generic letters will lead to disqualification.
- A current result slip, signed and stamped by the Head of Department, clearly indicating the student’s CGPA
- A personal statement (maximum 400 words) using Century Gothic font, size 12, with 1.5 spacing, explaining why the applicant deserves consideration for the scholarship. The applicant’s full name must be at the top of the document. The use of AI tools to generate personal statements is strictly prohibited and will result in disqualification.
