FULOKOJA POST-UTME/DE 2024: Eligibility, Cut-off Mark, And Registration Details

Dear prospective applicants, both UTME and DE candidates, who have applied to the Federal University Lokoja (FUL) for the 2024/2025 Academic Session through JAMB, and have either selected FUL as their 1st Choice or are open to changing their institution to make FUL their first choice, we would like to inform you that the Post-UTME Screening Portal is scheduled to open on Monday, September 2 and close on Sunday, October 2, 2024.

General Eligibility Criteria

  • To meet the requirements for the screening exercise, UTME candidates need to attain a minimum score of 160 in the 2024 UTME.
  • DE candidates are expected to have applied through JAMB.

Admission Eligibility Criteria

  1. Only applicants who select FUL as their 1st choice and participate in the Post-UTME Screening Exercise are eligible for consideration for admission.
  2. Applicants must have a minimum of five (5) O’ level credits in subjects relevant to their desired course of study, obtained in not more than two (2) sittings, except for Programs in the College of Health Sciences, where applicants are required to have at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects in one sitting. Additionally, a credit in English Language is compulsory for admission into all courses at FUL.
  3. Only applicants who upload their O’ level result(s) on their JAMB e-Facility will participate in the screening exercise and be eligible for admission. Please note that uploading O’ level result(s) on the JAMB e-Facility can only be done successfully at a JAMB Office or a JAMB-accredited CBT Centre.

Screening

In response to the current challenges affecting our nation, including fuel scarcity, accommodation and logistics issues, increased transportation costs, and security concerns, we have implemented an Online Screening – Point-Based System for the 2024/2025 admissions screening exercise.

To take part in the screening exercise, all applicants (UTME and DE) are required to access the University’s Post-UTME Screening Portal.

To ensure a successful completion of the screening process, please carefully read and follow the instructions provided below:

  1. Upload your O’ level result(s) on the JAMB portal before accessing the University Post-UTME Portal. Candidates with pending results can begin the online registration but will not be able to participate in the online screening until the O’ level result is uploaded.
  2. Applicants must possess a valid personal e-mail address before starting the screening process.
  3. To begin the screening exercise, visit: http://www.fulokoja.edu.ng. Click on Admissions – Undergraduate – Post-UTME Portal and log in with your valid 2024 JAMB Registration Number to confirm eligibility.

Instructions for Post-UTME Application

a) Updating Personal Information

After confirming eligibility, proceed to the Biodata section to provide updated personal details. DE applicants should ensure to update their prior academic records as required.

b) Payment Process

Generate your Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) payment invoice for the Post-UTME Screening Charges, amounting to ₦2,000.00, via REMITA services. Utilize ATM card or bank payment and click on the “Pay Now” button to initiate the payment process.

c) Screening Steps

  1. From the list of available courses, select your preferred Program
  2. Choose the 5 O’ level subjects corresponding to your selected Program and submit.
  3. Upload your O’ level Examination details for verification after selecting the subjects. Following a successful upload, your Post-UTME Screening result will be presented.
Important Notice
  1. A successful screening exercise does not guarantee admission into FUL. The Central Admissions Committee of the University will apply other admission modalities in considering applications.
  2. Any anomaly, falsehood, or withholding of required information detected at any stage will lead to automatic disqualification of admission, and any fees paid will not be refunded.
  3. Applicants are expected to strictly adhere to the instructions provided.

The Post-UTME Screening Exercise closes by midnight, Sunday, October 2, 2024.
