Federal University of Technology, Babura (FUTB) Post-UTME 2024/2025: Application Process, Eligibility, and Key Dates

The Federal University of Technology, Babura (FUTB), a prominent institution in Nigeria focused on technological advancement and specialized courses, has announced details for the 2024/2025 Post-UTME screening exercise. Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the FUTB 2024/2025 Post-UTME, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • JAMB Cut-Off Score: Candidates should have obtained a minimum score of 160 in the 2024 UTME.
  • Choice of Institution: FUTB should be listed as the candidate’s first choice institution during the JAMB registration.
  • Academic Qualifications: Candidates must have at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in SSCE (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB), not exceeding two sittings.

Application Process

Online registration will commence from Wednesday, 30th October, 2024. Eligible candidates should follow these steps to complete their Post-UTME application:

  • Step 1: Visit the FUTB Admission Portal
    Access the university’s admission portal by visiting FUTB official website and navigating to the Post-UTME section.
  • Step 2: Navigate to the course display table. input your JAMB registration number in the field provided to check your eligibility
  • Step 3: If you are eligible, your course will be displayed. Click on the “More information “button beside the course to view the course requirements.
  • Note: The “More information enables you to view the requirements,application fee duration, application closing date and session.
  • Step 4: Click on the “Apply Now” button
  • Step 5: If you have an existing account, click on “Login with Google”
  • Step 6: If you do not have an account, click “Sign up with Google” or manually by creating an account sign up
  • How to sign up manually
  • Fill in the form below the Sign up with google button. After filling the form, click on the “Create account button”
  • You will receive an activation code in your email inbox. “Enter” the code received in these boxes. Click “Confirm”
  • Step 7: You will then be directed to the payment page to make payment, When payment is successful a preview of your application pops up. Click on “Proceed to Application Form
  • Fill in your details in the empty fields provided in all the sections. Please note that pre-filled fields are uneditable NOTE: To move to the next section in your application form, dick on “Next”
  • The final stage requires you to click on “preview and submit” to complete your application
  • Congratulations!!! Your application has been submitted successfully. We wish you the very best. How to check payment status On your dashboard beside all applications tab, click Transaction History.
  • NOTE:
  • A list of all your transactions will be displayed. View the status of each of your transactions under the “Status” column.

Screening Exercise

FUTB adopts a screening approach that may include either a computer-based test (CBT) or direct evaluation of applicants’ academic credentials. Applicants should monitor announcements on the official portal for details on:

  • Screening Dates: To be announced, tentatively scheduled within one month of the application deadline.
  • Screening Venue: Typically held at the university campus or designated centers.
  • Required Documentation: Candidates must bring their JAMB result slip, Post-UTME registration slip, passport-sized photographs, and valid ID on screening day.

Important Notes

  • Change of Institution: Candidates who initially selected a different university but wish to apply to FUTB can do so by completing the JAMB Change of Institution process before starting the Post-UTME application.
  • Accuracy of Details: Ensure all information submitted is correct, as errors could affect the processing of admission.
