Registration process

Registration for the FUNAAB POST-UTME/DE 2024 is conducted online through the university’s official portal. Here’s a step-by-step guide:

  1. Visit the Official Portal: Go to the FUNAAB admission portal at FUNAAB Admission Portal.
  2. Create an Account: If you are a new user, you will need to create an account using a valid email address and phone number.
  3. Login:  Once your account is created, login using your email and password.
  4. Payment: Pay the non-refundable screening fee, which can be done online via the portal using a credit/debit card or through designated bank branches.
  5. Complete the Application Form: Fill in the required information, including your JAMB registration number, personal details and O’ Level results.
  6. Upload  Documents: Upload scanned copies of your recent photograph, JAMB result slip, O’ Level results and for DE candidates, relevant academic transcripts or certificates.
  7. Submit: Review all entered information for accuracy before submitting the application. Print out the confirmation page for your records.

Cut-off Mark

The general cut-off mark for the FUNAAB POST-UTME 2024 is 180. However, some courses may have higher cut-off marks due to competition and the number of applicants. Below are the expected cut-off marks for some popular courses:

  • Agricultural Engineering: 200
  • Animal Production and Health: 190
  • Biochemistry: 200
  • Computer Science: 210
  • Food Science and Technology:200
  • Microbiology: 200

These cut-off marks maybe subject to change at the university’s discretion and based on the overall performance of candidates in both UTME and POST-UTME screenings.

Eligibility Criteria

For UTME Candidates

  1. UTME Score: Candidates must have scored a minimum of 180 in the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
  2. First Choice: FUNAAB must be chosen as the first choice in the UTME.
  3. O’ Level Requirement: Candidates must have at least five 950 O’ Level credit passes in subjects relevant to their chosen course, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.
  4. Age Requirement; Candidates must be at least 16 years old by the time of admission.

For Direct Entry Candidates

  1. Academic Qualifications: Candidates must have at least two 929 A-level passes or equivalent in relevant subjects. Holders of National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND), or  NCE with at least Lower Credit are also eligible.
  2. O’ Level Requirements: As with UTME candidates, DE candidates must have at least five (5) O’ Level credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.
