FUTMINNA 2025/2026 Pre-Admission Screening for New Courses

The Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUTMINNA) has announced the start of its 2025/2026 Pre-Admission Screening Exercise (UPASE) for both newly introduced and existing programs.

This screening is an important step after the JAMB stage. It helps the university verify candidates’ eligibility before final admission is offered.

Application Date and Fee

For candidates applying to the new Medical and Health programs (such as Medicine & Surgery, Nursing Science, etc.), the screening will take place from Saturday, 18th October 2025 to midnight on Thursday, 21st October 2025.

  • Application Fee: ₦2,000.00 (non-refundable)
  • Payment Method: REMITA
Eligibility

Candidates who can take part in the FUTMINNA Pre-Admission Screening include:

  • UTME and Direct Entry (DE) candidates who chose FUTMINNA as their first choice.
  • UTME candidates with the required score and correct subject combination for their chosen course.
  • Candidates with at least five (5) O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings.
  • DE candidates must also meet the ND/HND or NCE requirements, depending on the program.

Applicants must complete their registration on the FUTMINNA UPASE Application Portal.

Below are the minimum scores required for specific programs:

How to Apply

Follow these steps to complete your screening registration:

  1. Visit the official FUTMINNA portal.
  2. Log in using your JAMB Registration Number and one of your names.
  3. Confirm that you selected FUTMINNA as your first choice on JAMB CAPS, and ensure your O’Level results are correctly uploaded.
  4. Pay the ₦2,000 screening fee through REMITA as instructed.
  5. Fill in your details carefully and print your confirmation slip or screening acknowledgement after submission.
