JAMB Releases 2025 UTME Mock Results

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially released the results of the 2025 Mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), conducted nationwide on Thursday, April 10, 2025. This mock exam serves as a preparatory assessment for candidates ahead of the main UTME scheduled to begin on Friday, April 25, 2025.

  • Total Registered Candidates: Over 200,000 candidates registered for the mock examination.
  • Candidates Who Sat for the Exam: 126,181 candidates successfully participated in the mock UTME.
  • Absentees: 73,844 candidates were absent on the examination day.
  • Biometric Verification Failures: 88 candidates were unable to sit for the exam due to biometric verification issues.
  • Results Released: Results for 115,735 candidates have been made available.
  • Pending Results: 10,446 results are still being processed and will be released subsequently.

How to Check Your 2025 Mock UTME Result

Candidates can access their mock UTME results through two methods:

1. SMS Method

  • Send the keyword “MOCKRESULT” to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number registered during the UTME registration process.
  • Ensure that your mobile line has sufficient credit balance to cover the SMS charge.
  • You will receive an SMS containing your mock result details.

2. Online Method

  • Visit the official JAMB result portal: https://slipsprinting.jamb.gov.ng/CheckUTMEMockResults.
  • Enter your JAMB registration number or email address in the provided field.
  • Click on “Check Mock Results” to view your scores.
  • You can print or download your result for future reference.

Purpose and Significance of the Mock UTME

The Mock UTME is an optional examination introduced by JAMB to help candidates familiarize themselves with the Computer-Based Test (CBT) environment and assess their preparedness for the main UTME. It also allows JAMB to test new technologies and procedures to enhance the examination process.
