The Vice-Chancellor, on behalf of the Senate, approved the recommendations of the Committee of Presidents, Deans and Directors (COPDD) on the proposed academic calendar for the 2024/2025 academic year, which was discussed at an emergency meeting on Wednesday, October 2, 2024.
The activities for the 2024/2025 academic year are as follows:
FIRST SEMESTER
- Monday, 18th November 2024 to Friday,
- 31 January 2025 – Resumption, Registration and Lectures for New and Returning Students
- Monday, 10th February to Friday, 7th March 2025 – Examination
SECOND SEMESTER
- Monday, 21st April 2025 to Friday, 11th July 2025 – Resumption, Registration and Lectures for New and Returning Students
- Monday, 14th July to Friday, 8th August 2025 – Examination
