Modibbo Adama University of Technology (MAUTECH) has officially announced the details for its 2024 Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening exercise. Aspiring students who wish to secure admission into the university for the 2024/2025 academic session are required to take part in this screening exercise. Below are the key details regarding eligibility and the registration process.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the MAUTECH Post-UTME or Direct Entry screening, candidates must meet the following requirements:
1. Post-UTME Candidates:
– Must have chosen MAUTECH as their first choice in the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
– Must have scored a minimum of 160 in the UTME.
– Must possess at least five (5) O’ Level credits. Including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings. These credits must be relevant to the course the candidate is applying for.
2. Direct Entry (DE) Candidates:
– Must have applied for Direct Entry admission through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and selected MAUTECH as their first choice.
– Must possess a minimum of Lower Credit in National Diploma (ND), Merit in NCE, or a good grade in any other equivalent qualification.
– Must also meet the O’ Level requirements for their chosen course.
Registration Process
Interested candidates should follow the steps below to register for the MAUTECH Post-UTME/DE screening:
1. Visit the MAUTECH Portal: Candidates should log on to the university’s official website at [www.mautech.edu.ng](http://www.mautech.edu.ng) and navigate to the Post-UTME/DE registration portal.
2. Create an Account: First-time users are required to create an account by providing their personal details and a valid email address.
3. Payment of Registration Fee: Candidates must pay a non-refundable screening fee of N2,000. Payment can be made online using an ATM card or through any designated bank.
4. Complete the Online Form: After payment, candidates should fill in the online registration form with accurate personal, academic, and UTME/DE details. They should also upload their recent passport photograph and other required documents.
5. Submit and Print Acknowledgment Slip: Once the form is completed, candidates should submit the form online and print the acknowledgment slip. This slip will serve as proof of registration and must be presented during the screening exercise.
Screening Schedule
The date for the Post-UTME examination on all programs will be communicated at the appropriate time. Candidates are advised to regularly check the MAUTECH website or their email for updates on the screening schedule, venue, and other relevant information.
