MTN Announces Shortlisted Candidates for the 2024 Science and Technology Scholarship

The MTN Foundation is pleased to announce the shortlisted candidates for the 2024 Science and Technology Scholarship Scheme. This initiative aims to support academic excellence and foster growth in the fields of science and technology. It continues to be a significant part of MTN’s corporate social responsibility efforts.

 Announcement Details

On August 10, 2024, the MTN Foundation will release the names of the shortlisted candidates on their official website and social media channels. This selection represents the culmination of a rigorous selection process that evaluated thousands of applications. The evaluation is based on academic merit, leadership potential, and the candidates’ demonstrated passion for science and technology.

 Key Dates

1.  August 10, 2024: Official announcement of shortlisted candidates.
2.  August 15, 2024: Deadline for shortlisted candidates to accept the scholarship offer.
3.  August 20, 2024: Online orientation session for all selected scholars.
4.  September 1, 2024: Commencement of the scholarship program for the 2024/2025 academic session.

 Scholarship Benefits

The MTN Science and Technology Scholarship Scheme provides comprehensive support to the selected scholars. These includes; covering tuition fees, accommodation, and a stipend for books and other learning materials. Additionally, scholars will have access to various MTN Foundation programs aimed at enhancing their personal and professional development.

 Next Steps for Shortlisted Candidates
